Dr. Epley is from Salem, Oregon, and received his medical training at the Oregon Health Sciences University. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He was fellowship-trained in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at St. Louis Children's Hospital, part of Washington University in St. Louis. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and sub-specializes in comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus (eye muscle balance disorders) and pediatric cataracts. Dr. Epley is actively involved in the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), where he has served on the Board of Directors as both a Director at Large and the President of AAPOS. He is a Board Examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is on the Board of Trustees for the Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and is active on several Committees of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a graduate of the AAO Leadership Development Program.

Krista A Heidar, M.D.
Dr. Heidar grew up in the Pacific Northwest and received her medical degree from Loma Linda University in California. She did her internship at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio, and her residency in Ophthalmology at Loma Linda University. She completed a surgical fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and eye motility disorders at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She specializes in comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus (eye muscle balance disorders).
Dr. Heidar is active in the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Heidar started practice in 2006.

AidA Mekouar, O.D.
Dr. Mekouar was born in Providence, RI and grew up in Morocco where she benefited from an international education. She has a bachelor's degree in science from McGill university, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Washington. She received her optometry doctorate degree from the University of Montreal School of Optometry. She is a member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, and participates in the children's vision task force. She is also a member of the American Academy of Optometry.
She enjoys traveling, biking, and cooking. She also loves volunteering in the community with organizations like Hopelink in Bellevue, and VOSH Northwest.
She speaks three languages, and lives on the Eastside with her husband and their two sons.
Dr. Mekouar started practice in 2013.
